Cheese and Wine Event 15 Feb 2024
WINE AND CHEESE EVENT in Llandeilo’s St Teilo Church on Thursday 15th February between 7.00 and 9.00 pm.
The Llandeilo Town Twinning Association is inviting ‘would be twinners’ and Francophiles to an open Cheese and Wine Evening in Llandeilo Church.
“We are holding the event to raise awareness of Llandeilo’s long-standing relationship with the beautiful seaside town/fishing port of Le Conquet in Brittany,” explains chair Linda Dougal. “The association was formed in 1979, has continued ever since, and has resulted in many lifelong friendships.”
“There will be a blend of Welsh, French and Bretagne music provided by Llandeilo based Welsh-Bretagne couple Dan Morris and Claudine Le Corre,” says new committee member and festival organiser Christoph Fischer.
“It’s going to be an informal celebration of the cultural exchange and a fun night,” assured social secretary Brenda Vautier. “Why not join the gathering and the warm and welcoming community event.”
